HORN, with its extensive experience, knowledge and expertise, designs different types of furnaces best suited to the various glass melting processes.

HORN’s machines and units are manufactured in its own workshop with a high vertical integration of the engineering office. Machines and units are supplied for batch charging, float glass forming on tin bath or flat glass annealing.

The engineering of HORN includes all drawings, material lists and data sheets required for purchasing of refractory material or manufacturing of the steel works. 

Whether it is an installation at a greenfield site or just a furnace repair, HORN offers the required furnace works from the supervision of the installation, through the installation works up to the furnace heat up. 

HORN provides a comprehensive service to assist the glass industry with its projects. This service includes project management, training, technical assistance and computer modelling.
